Fractional CRO / CMO · Melbourne & worldwide
I join your leadership team as a part-time Chief Revenue or Chief Marketing Officer, and I'm accountable for the go-to-market strategy, the pipeline and the numbers.
A fractional CRO (Chief Revenue Officer) or CMO (Chief Marketing Officer) is a senior revenue leader who joins your leadership team part-time, typically one to three days a week. They own go-to-market strategy, pricing, channels and the sales and marketing engine, without the cost of a full-time executive.
What I deliver
Where to play, how to win and what it will take, with targets and owners the board can track.
Pricing that reflects the value you deliver, works across markets and protects margin.
The right mix of direct sales, partners and carriers, with clear rules so channels support each other.
Pipeline, forecasting, CRM and reporting that leaders trust, on platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot and Marketo.
Fractional CRO vs VP of Sales
A VP of Sales runs the sales team against a plan. A CRO owns the plan itself: which markets, which customers, what price, which channels, and how sales, marketing and customer success work together to hit the number.
Many mid-market companies hire a VP of Sales when the real gap is at CRO level, then wonder why a good salesperson can't fix pricing or positioning. A fractional CRO can set the strategy and the engine, then help you hire the VP of Sales to run it.

FAQ
A fractional CRO owns revenue end to end: go-to-market strategy, pricing, channels, the sales and marketing engine and the forecast. Unlike a consultant, they sit in the leadership team and are accountable for results, but only for one to three days a week.
If the problem is pipeline and conversion from first touch to closed revenue, you usually need a CRO. If it's positioning, brand and demand, a CMO. I've held both, so we decide together after the diagnostic.
My fractional seats start from A$12,000 + GST a month for about one day a week, and the two-week diagnostic sprint starts from A$15,000 + GST. My pricing guide compares market rates by role.
Typically six to twelve months: long enough to set the strategy, fix the engine and see the results in the numbers. Some clients then move to an advisory retainer or hire a full-time CRO, whom I help recruit.
No. I'm based in Melbourne and work in person there, but I also work remotely with clients across Australia, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas, and travel or relocate for longer engagements.
