How I work

Start small. Prove value. Then go deep.

Every engagement starts with understanding what's really going on. From there, I can join your leadership team for as much or as little time as the job needs.

The process

  1. Step 01

    Diagnose

A two-week sprint to find what is really holding growth back, ending with board-ready findings and a 90-day plan.

  2. Step 02

    Plan

We agree the priorities, the measures of success and the role I'll play.

  3. Step 03

    Embed & deliver

I join your leadership team for 1–3 days a week, as an advisor, or full-time on an interim basis, and I'm accountable for results.

FAQ

Questions leaders ask

What is a fractional executive?

A senior executive who joins your leadership team part-time, typically one to three days a week, and holds a real role with real accountability. You get C-suite experience without the cost and commitment of a full-time hire.

How is this different from consulting?

Consultants usually advise and hand over a report. As a fractional executive I sit inside the team, own the outcomes and do the work alongside your people until it is done.

What size of business do you work with?

Mid-market companies at an inflection point: scaling into new markets, preparing for a raise, IPO or exit, fixing a stalled go-to-market engine, or working out what to do about AI.

How do engagements usually start?

Most start with a 30-minute call, then either a two-week diagnostic sprint or a short scoping session for a fractional or interim role.

How are you paid?

The diagnostic sprint is a fixed fee, from A$15,000 + GST. Fractional seats start from A$12,000 + GST a month for about one day a week, and advisory retainers from A$5,000 + GST a month. Interim and program engagements are quoted once we have agreed the scope.

Do you work outside Australia?

Yes. I am based in Melbourne and work remotely with clients worldwide. I am also open to travel, and to relocating for longer interim engagements.

What happens at the end of an engagement?

Ideally the business no longer needs me in that seat. That might mean the team has grown into it, or that I help you recruit and onboard a full-time executive.

Let's talk about what's next for your business.

A 30-minute conversation, no pitch deck. If I'm not the right fit, I'll tell you, and point you to someone who is.
