The challenge
An ASX-listed investment management group was taking investment strategies from its affiliates to market through initial public offerings. IPO campaigns run to fixed timelines and involve many external marketing and technology suppliers.
What I did
- Go-to-market strategy. I worked with the group’s investment affiliates to develop and deliver the go-to-market strategy for their IPO campaigns.
- Trusted adviser. I acted as the in-house adviser managing internal stakeholders’ expectations of external marketing and technology suppliers, so the business got what it needed from them, on time.
The outcome
One campaign raised more than A$300M. In another, more than 90% of options were exercised.
Why it matters for your business
A raise, IPO or exit is the moment your go-to-market story is tested hardest, and there’s no second attempt. Experienced, senior support for that window is worth far more than its cost.
